New Zealand have made multiple changes to their T20I squad for the remaining three matches against India after suffering back-to-back four-wicket defeats. Lockie Ferguson will depart for Auckland on Sunday and rejoin the squad for the final two T20Is at Eden Park and Seddon Park.

Matt Henry will remain in Christchurch and join the ODI squad in Auckland on November 2, while Kyle Jamieson will leave the T20I squad after the third match in Wellington. Blair Tickner has been added to the squad for the final three T20Is, and Josh Clarkson joins for the fourth and fifth matches.

Head coach Rob Walter said the changes form part of planned workload management during a busy summer schedule. Matt Fisher travels with the squad as cover for the third T20I before returning to the New Zealand A side.

CricHubb Take

New Zealand's rotation strategy reflects the reality of a congested calendar where no single format can claim exclusive attention. The challenge lies in maintaining match sharpness while managing bowler workloads across three formats.
