Derbyshire re-sign Pakistan spinner Moqim to replace injured Ghazanfar
Derbyshire have brought back Pakistan spinner Mohammad Hasnain (Moqim) for the Vitality Blast's second half, stepping in after Allah Ghazanfar's injury.
Derbyshire have re-signed Pakistan spinner Mohammad Hasnain, known as Moqim, for the second half of the Vitality Blast. The move comes after leg-spinner Allah Ghazanfar was ruled out with injury.
Moqim's a familiar face — he's played for the county before and returns as their overseas spinner option. Derbyshire Falcons confirmed the signing on Friday.
At 26, he'll join the squad immediately and is expected to slot into upcoming Blast matches.

The question now is timing. Moqim arrives mid-tournament with no county conditioning; Derbyshire either trust his T20 nous or they're gambling that one overseas spinner in the knockout stages won't sink them.
