Suryansh Shedge and Angkrish Raghuvanshi join Mumbai's Ranji Trophy squad
Suryansh Shedge and Angkrish Raghuvanshi replace injured Ayush Mhatre and rested Yashasvi Jaiswal in Mumbai's Ranji Trophy squad.
Mumbai have called up Angkrish Raghuvanshi and Suryansh Shedge for the Ranji Trophy match against Himachal Pradesh that starts on Sunday in Bilaspur. Raghuvanshi steps into the side after Ayush Mhatre was ruled out for four to six weeks with a right hamstring tear picked up in the season opener versus Chandigarh, while Shedge replaces Yashasvi Jaiswal, who has been called up by the India A squad for the tour of New Zealand.
Mhatre sustained a Grade 4 tear during the three-day win over Chandigarh and had to be replaced by Suved Parkar in the field on the final day after scoring 48 in the first innings. Raghuvanshi is expected to open the batting with Divyaansh Saxena.

Mhatre's Grade 4 tear after just one innings underscores the physical demands on young batters returning from IPL workloads without adequate pre-season conditioning.
