Angkrish Raghuvanshi scored his maiden first-class century on the opening day of Round 3 of the Ranji Trophy 2026-27 against Haryana at the MCA Cricket Ground in Mumbai. The 22-year-old reached the landmark off 147 balls, striking 13 fours and a six. Raghuvanshi came into the match after scoring two double centuries in the CK Nayudu Under-23 Elite Trophy. Mumbai were without Yashasvi Jaiswal and Ayush Mhatre, giving Raghuvanshi an opportunity at the senior domestic level. Sarfaraz Khan was among the notable names in Mumbai's squad for the Group D encounter. Haryana won the toss and elected to bowl first.

CricHubb Take

Raghuvanshi's hundred arrived with India's senior openers away, which is why his selection mattered more than the timing. The question now is whether this performance forces the selectors to think about him for the next red-ball cycle.
