Angkrish Raghuvanshi and Musheer Khan scored their maiden first-class centuries on the opening day of Mumbai's Ranji Trophy match against Haryana. Raghuvanshi made 114 off 180 balls, while Musheer scored 109 off 185 deliveries in a 208-run second-wicket partnership.

The pair helped Mumbai reach 290 for 3 before bad light ended play early at the Sharad Pawar Cricket Academy ground. Raghuvanshi reached his hundred off 147 balls with 13 fours and a six, while Musheer brought up his century with a single off Kanishk Chauhan.

Raghuvanshi had impressed in the CK Nayudu Under-23 Elite Trophy earlier this season, scoring double centuries against Tamil Nadu and Bengal. He earned his opportunity with Mumbai after Yashasvi Jaiswal's international commitments and Ayush Mhatre's injury opened a spot in the senior side.

CricHubb Take

Mumbai's depth problem is being solved by players who were not part of last season's plans. Raghuvanshi and Musheer have both come through the age-group system with substantial first-class numbers, yet neither was guaranteed a senior spot until injuries and national call-ups created vacancies. Their hundreds suggest the gap between Mumbai's age-group and senior setups may be narrower than recent results indicated.
