Anshul Kamboj handed ODI debut as India make three changes for third West Indies match
Anshul Kamboj received his first ODI cap from Virat Kohli after Prasidh Krishna was ruled out injured ahead of the third ODI against West Indies at New Chandigarh.
Kamboj got his cap from Virat Kohli before the third ODI against West Indies at the New PCA Stadium in New Chandigarh. He replaced Prasidh Krishna, who suffered a left hamstring injury in Guwahati. Nitish Kumar Reddy and Mohammed Siraj also came back into the side, with Ravindra Jadeja and Auqib Nabi making way.
Shubman Gill won the toss and chose to bat on a surface he called good for batting. He noted India's bowling attack lacks experience and said the team must keep improving. West Indies made three changes too, bringing in Jewel Andrew, Matthew Forde and Gudakesh Motie.
The 27-year-old Kamboj had been called up from India A's second four-day match against Australia A in Puducherry. He has already played one Test and represented North Zone in the Duleep Trophy.

India are giving Kamboj his chance while the series is already decided, but the real test comes when they need him to bowl the tough overs in matches that matter.
