Delhi captain Ayush Badoni scored a career-best 217 off 233 balls to lead Delhi to 648 for six declared against Gujarat on day two of their Ranji Trophy match at the Air Force Ground in Palam. Badoni reached his third first-class double century before falling to an expansive drive outside off stump.
The 26-year-old added 191 runs for the fifth wicket with Sumit Mathur, who scored 92. Delhi's total is their second-highest Ranji score this century. Gujarat's Dharmendrasinh Jadeja took seven for 173 from 55.5 overs in a marathon spell.
