Bhuvneshwar Kumar has been added to India's squad for the fifth T20I against West Indies after Arshdeep Singh sustained a shoulder injury during the fourth match in Hyderabad. The decider will be played at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Saturday.

Arshdeep was struck on the shoulder while batting in the final over of India's chase. A decision on his availability will be made closer to the match. Bhuvneshwar last played a T20I for India in November 2022. The 36-year-old finished as the second-highest wicket-taker in IPL 2026 with 28 scalps from 16 matches for Royal Challengers Bengaluru.

CricHubb Take

India's pace depth remains thin when the first-choice seamer is ruled out. Adding a 36-year-old veteran for a dead-rubber shows how few options the selectors trust on flat pitches.
