England win ODI series 2-1 after record 387 at Lord's; India hampered by injuries.

England posted 387 for 3 at Lord's, their highest ODI total there, then defended it to win by 27 runs and take the series 2-1. Ben Duckett made a hundred and Joe Root finished unbeaten on 99. The match ran to 747 runs in total.

England had trailed 1-0 after the opener. They levelled it before the decider, and captain Harry Brook called the comeback a fantastic achievement. India arrived short on numbers. Five players from the original squad missed the final game, and Jasprit Bumrah sat out with left knee swelling. Shubman Gill said the injuries hurt them badly.

CricHubb Take

England's middle order stayed intact through the series while India's bench was already thin before the decider — the gap between full-strength sides and injury-hit ones just got wider.
