Mumbai Indians appoint new coaching staff for IPL 2027
Mumbai Indians named Uthappa, McClenaghan and T Dilip as batting, bowling and fielding coaches for IPL 2027.
Mumbai Indians parted ways with Lasith Malinga, Paras Mhambrey and Carl Hopkinson on October 29. Malinga and Mhambrey had served as bowling coaches while Hopkinson worked as fielding coach. Kieron Pollard took over as head coach earlier in October.
Uthappa will serve as batting coach and McClenaghan will work as bowling coach. T Dilip will handle fielding duties. Dhawal Kulkarni will focus on player development. The new appointments run for the IPL 2027 season.

The overhaul leaves Mumbai Indians with a clean slate after three seasons of mid-table finishes. Pollard now has his preferred support staff in place for a full pre-season cycle.
