Mumbai Indians have let Lasith Malinga, Paras Mhambrey and Carl Hopkinson go.

Malinga had moved from player to mentor and coach. Mhambrey spent seven years with the side from 2010 to 2017, then returned for 2024. Hopkinson joined only ahead of the 2025 season.

Kieron Pollard took over as head coach in October. The IPL 2027 mini-auction is set for December 16 in Goa.
