Gurnoor Brar credits Kohli and Rohit for guidance after four-wicket haul
Gurnoor Brar credited senior players for guidance after taking four for 30 against New Zealand. He bounced back from earlier struggles in the West Indies series.
Gurnoor Brar took four for 30 in India's four-run DLS victory over New Zealand in the second ODI. The young pacer admitted being hit in the West Indies series was demotivating but said he focused on learning from the setbacks.
Brar took seven wickets against Afghanistan and four in three matches against England. He conceded 96 runs for two wickets in Guwahati and went wicketless for 60 in Thiruvananthapuram before taking one for 64 in Mullanpur against West Indies.
Gautam Gambhir told the bowlers to hit the right lengths and bowl freely without worrying about boundaries. Shubman Gill backs players and does not judge them only by performance. Brar said the team atmosphere is very good and the goal is to win the World Cup.
