Hardik Pandya's chances of playing serious cricket before IPL 2027 look slim. He's at Bengaluru's Centre of Excellence, working through a stress fracture on the inside of his shin.
Recent checks at the CoE point to a long, careful recovery. The all-rounder, who's already dealt with multiple injuries over the last two or three years, is still three weeks away from even light jogging, and it will take another eight weeks of gradual loading after that.
Doctors won't commit to a firm timeline. There's a real possibility he won't step onto a competitive field until the 2027 IPL begins.
