Pakistan beat West Indies by eight wickets to level series 1-1
Pakistan chased 75 for two wickets to win the second Test by eight wickets and level the series 1-1. Sajid Khan and Ali Usman shared eight wickets as West Indies were dismissed for 117.
Pakistan needed 75. Two wickets fell, none of them to the spinners, and by mid-morning on day four in Port of Spain the target was gone.
The win snapped an eight-match run of away-Test defeats and gave Pakistan their first overseas victory in three years. Abdullah Shafique finished 24 not out, Babar Azam 24 not out. Sajid Khan took 4 for 32, Ali Usman 4 for 39, and West Indies folded for 117 second time around.
Pakistan now sit eighth in the World Test Championship on 22.22 percent; West Indies drop to ninth on 20.83 after two wins in twelve matches.
