Vaibhav Sooryavanshi's return to India's T20I side for the second match against New Zealand has renewed attention on the 15-year-old's commercial profile. The left-hander came in for the injured Ishan Kishan and batted at number three.

Sooryavanshi scored four off eight balls before Nathan Smith had him caught by Daryl Mitchell. He has scored 250 runs in nine T20Is at a strike rate of 178.57 since making his debut against England in July. Rajasthan Royals signed him for 1.10 crore rupees at the 2025 auction.

Zydus Wellness signed him as brand ambassador for Complan in February 2026. Red Bull has also been linked with the teenager. His family manages his commercial deals with support from the franchise.

CricHubb Take

A short innings does not diminish the commercial interest. Brands are betting on the length of the career ahead rather than the runs scored in any single match.
