England recall Bethell and Archer for the Australia white-ball tour. Rew and Jack receive first call-ups in the T20 squad.
Jacob Bethell returns from a knee injury for England's white-ball tour of Australia that begins on 13 November. The 16-member ODI squad includes Jofra Archer, Joe Root and Harry Brook as captain. Jos Buttler and Saqib Mahmood are unavailable after hamstring and knee injuries.
The T20 squad rests four frontline seamers ahead of the Test series in South Africa. Somerset wicketkeeper-batter Thomas Rew, 18, and Hampshire quick Eddie Jack, 21, earn maiden call-ups. Phil Salt returns after a quad injury while Luke Wood is also recalled.
The itinerary comprises three ODIs and five T20Is. The first ODI is at Optus Stadium in Perth on 13 November. The T20 series ends at Manuka Oval in Canberra on 2 December.
