Ishan Kishan scored an unbeaten 80 as India crushed Sri Lanka by 124 runs to set up a gold-medal clash with Pakistan.

India defeated Sri Lanka by 124 runs in the Asian Games men's cricket semifinal on Thursday. Ishan Kishan remained unbeaten on 80 from 46 balls as India posted 169 for seven. Vaibhav Sooryavanshi scored 38 from 21 deliveries with six fours and two sixes.

Sri Lanka were bowled out for 45 in 9.5 overs. Jasprit Bumrah took two wickets in his opening over. Axar Patel, Abhishek Sharma and Washington Sundar claimed five wickets between them.

India will face Pakistan in the gold-medal match at Korogi Sports Park in Nisshin on Saturday. Pakistan advanced after beating Bangladesh by six wickets in a rain-reduced semifinal.
