India omit Kuldeep Yadav again for fourth T20I against West Indies

India will again leave out Kuldeep Yadav for the fourth T20I in Hyderabad, prompting criticism from former captain Kris Srikkanth.

India left Kuldeep Yadav out of their playing XI for the fourth T20I against West Indies in Hyderabad on Wednesday. The hosts lead the five-match series 2-1 and are expected to retain the extra-pace combination that worked in the third match.

Kris Srikkanth criticised the decision, saying the selectors had damaged the spinner's confidence after he conceded 53 runs in four overs during the second T20I. India won that match after dropping Kuldeep but still trail by one game.

India's probable XI: Abhishek Sharma, Sanju Samson, Ishan Kishan, Shreyas Iyer, Tilak Varma, Naman Dhir, Nitish Kumar Reddy, Axar Patel, Prince Yadav, Mayank Yadav, Arshdeep Singh.

CricHubb Take

The selectors are treating Kuldeep as a luxury rather than a default, a calculation that only holds if the extra quick keeps delivering breakthroughs on flat pitches.
