Lhuan-dre Pretorius scored 101 off 52 balls as South Africa defeated Namibia by 11 runs in the tri-series in Windhoek. The 20-year-old opener reached his fifty in 28 deliveries before completing the century.

South Africa posted 228 for six and Namibia finished on 217 for eight. The result eliminated Namibia from the tournament and confirmed South Africa's place in the final against Zimbabwe.

Pretorius became the youngest player from a full-member nation to score a T20I century, surpassing Afghanistan's Hazratullah Zazai. He also set the record for the fastest T20I hundred by a South African.

CricHubb Take

Pretorius's record shows South Africa are producing young openers who can dominate at the highest level, but the team must now prove it can win major titles with this new batting core.
