The ICC released the 2027 ODI World Cup schedule on Thursday. A Super Series with three teams opens the tournament, then two groups of six. The top three and the best fourth-placed team from each group advance to the Super 7, and the top four reach the semifinals on November 17 and 18. The final is November 21.

India open against Australia in Cape Town on October 7. They meet Pakistan in Johannesburg three days later and Afghanistan on October 14. South Africa host New Zealand in Cape Town on October 9 and England in Gqeberha on October 16. Sri Lanka play Bangladesh in Durban the same day.

India will play two senior men's matches on the same day for the first time since 1998. Their T20I side contest the Asian Games medal match on October 3, the day the ODI team faces the West Indies in Mullanpur.

CricHubb Take

India's split-squad day on October 3 tests the depth of its bench just when the 2027 cycle begins, so any injury or rotation decision now carries extra weight.
