Mohammed Siraj will join India A for their second four-day match starting October 31. Nitish Kumar Reddy will join India A for their third and final four-day match.

The two-Test series against New Zealand begins on November 19. Prasidh Krishna is expected to return for the final India A four-day match.

Siraj has taken 144 wickets in 48 Test matches. Nitish has scored 396 runs and taken 8 wickets in 10 Test matches, including a maiden Test century against Australia at the MCG.

CricHubb Take

India's decision to send both Siraj and Nitish to India A rather than rest them entirely shows the management wants match practice, not just recovery time, before the Test series begins.
