Hyderabad, Tripura, Goa and Karnataka record Ranji Trophy wins
Hyderabad beat Chhattisgarh by one wicket while Tripura, Goa and Karnataka also recorded wins in the Ranji Trophy.
Hyderabad beat Chhattisgarh by one wicket after chasing 259. Aniketh Reddy remained unbeaten on 39 as Hyderabad recovered from 220 for 9. Tripura defeated Saurashtra by 133 runs after posting 268 and 191. Saurashtra scored 118 and 208. Sandip Sarkar took 4 for 81 and shared seven wickets with Abhijit Sarkar. The victory was Tripura’s first of the season.
Maharashtra defeated Bengal by 10 wickets. Pradeep Dadhe and Hitesh Walunj took four wickets each in Bengal’s second innings of 186. Gujarat defeated Kerala by an innings and 58 runs. Urvil Patel scored an unbeaten 210 for Gujarat. Arzan Nagwaswalla took four wickets in each innings against Kerala.
Tamil Nadu defeated Railways by 106 runs. Ajith Ram took seven wickets for 48 in Tamil Nadu’s win. Karnataka defeated Assam by an innings and 130 runs. Shreyas Gopal took four wickets for 39 against Assam. Goa defeated Bihar by an innings and 177 runs. Jharkhand drew with Odisha. Services drew with Delhi. Andhra drew with Punjab. Himachal Pradesh drew with Rajasthan. Pondicherry drew with Jammu & Kashmir. Baroda drew with Uttar Pradesh.
