Naman Dhir credits Jadeja for bowling guidance in West Indies series
Naman Dhir said Ravindra Jadeja's tips on line and length helped him in his first ODI series against West Indies.
Naman Dhir said conversations with Ravindra Jadeja helped him during the West Indies ODI series. The Punjab all-rounder made his ODI debut in the first match and bowled six overs for 38 runs without a wicket in the second ODI in Guwahati.
Dhir said Jadeja advised him on line and length. He added that he focused on using the longer boundary for right-handers and avoided trying to do anything extra on his own during the high-scoring game where West Indies posted 405 for seven.
Dhir has not had a chance to bat in the first two matches. India named him as a replacement for Washington Sundar in the upcoming five-match T20I series against West Indies.

Dhir's quick access to Jadeja shows how India are accelerating the development of their next all-round option by pairing him with an established senior player during a low-stakes bilateral series.
