Manchester Super Giants defeated MI London by six wickets with 28 balls to spare in the Women's Hundred at The Oval. Meg Lanning scored 43 from 31 balls as Super Giants chased down 93 with ease. MI London were bowled out for 92, losing their last four wickets for five runs in eight deliveries.
Ryana MacDonald-Gay took 3 for 19, while Sophie Ecclestone and Maitlan Brown each claimed two wickets. Smriti Mandhana made 34 from 27 balls in an opening stand of 73 with Lanning before falling to Kirstie Gordon. Melie Kerr then dismissed Richa Ghosh and Paige Scholfield in successive deliveries.
MI London remain without a win after five matches and sit bottom of the table. Super Giants moved within two points of second-placed Trent Rockets. Mady Villiers hit the winning boundary for Super Giants.
