New Zealand have ruled out Lockie Ferguson and Matt Henry from the final two T20Is against India. Ferguson sustained a low-grade right calf tear, while Henry suffered a right quadricep injury. Matt Fisher has been named as Ferguson's replacement in the squad. Henry was already scheduled to miss the remaining matches for workload management before the injury occurred.

India lead the five-match series 3-0. The fourth T20I is scheduled for Friday at Eden Park in Auckland. New Zealand coach Rob Walter said the team is disappointed for the two injured players.

Both Ferguson and Henry are expected to be available for the ODI series against India, which begins on November 4. Ferguson is expected to recover from his injury in time for the start of that series.
