Tilak Varma said India views a 5-0 series win as a strong chance. The 23-year-old left-hand batter added that the side cannot make excuses at the highest level. He also said he aims for a boundary off the first ball when possible at number five or six, focusing on singles and doubles when that option is not available.
India secured the series victory after three matches. The fourth T20I is set for October 30 at Eden Park in Auckland. Lockie Ferguson and Matt Henry are ruled out of the remaining T20Is with calf and quadricep injuries respectively. Matt Fisher has been added to New Zealand's squad for the final two matches.
Aakash Chopra recommended including Mayank Yadav for the fourth T20I. Ishan Kishan has returned to net practice ahead of the match. Eden Park is expected to host a sell-out crowd of about 40,000 for the fixture.
