Crocombe makes England ODI debut in one-wicket loss to Pakistan
Crocombe's first England wicket came on a day Pakistan chased 241 with one wicket and nine balls to spare.
Henry Crocombe made his England ODI debut against Pakistan at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore. The seamer claimed his first wicket when Saim Ayub edged to slip but conceded more than nine runs per over on debut.
England scored 241 and lost by one wicket. Pakistan chased the target with an unbroken 89-run stand between Shadab Khan and Haris Rauf. Shadab finished unbeaten on 113 off 96 balls.
Crocombe signed a two-year central contract with England earlier this month. Haris Rauf received an official reprimand and one demerit point for an on-field altercation with Will Jacks. England must beat Sri Lanka to stay in contention for the tri-series final.
