Dilshan Madushanka claimed career-best figures of 5 for 34 as Sri Lanka bowled Pakistan out for 110 and chased the target in 18.1 overs. Sahan Arachchige took 2 for 24 while Kamindu Mendis finished unbeaten on 62. Babar Azam top-scored for Pakistan with 29.

The eight-wicket win secured Sri Lanka's place in the tri-series final against Pakistan on Saturday. England were eliminated after losing their first three matches. Mike Smith said Babar has made starts in each of his four innings and a big score is imminent.

Shaheen Shah Afridi said Pakistan must forget the defeat and prepare for the final. Madushanka said the team executed their plans well, while Kusal Mendis praised Dilshan's bowling.
