Australia A posted 275 and then bowled India A out for 206 to win the second unofficial ODI by 69 runs in Puducherry. Rajat Patidar top-scored for India A with 67 off 82 balls but received little support after three early wickets. Spencer Johnson took three for 35 to finish the innings.

Sam Konstas made 67 and Josh Philippe scored 58 in Australia A's innings. Mitchell Owen fell early to Yash Thakur, but the middle order built a platform before the lower order folded in the 50th over. Ruturaj Gaikwad made three crisp cover drives before being caught at deep backward point.

Australia A now leads the three-match series 2-0.

CricHubb Take

India A's top order keeps failing in the same pattern. Unless the next match produces a different opening stand, selectors will start looking at the same names they just left out of the senior squad.
