Duffy praises Bhuvneshwar ahead of New Zealand series
Duffy said Bhuvneshwar will enjoy New Zealand conditions and called him one of the best T20 bowlers.
New Zealand seamer Jacob Duffy said Bhuvneshwar Kumar will enjoy the conditions during India's five-match T20I series that begins on Thursday in Christchurch. Duffy, who shared an IPL dressing room with the veteran seamer at Royal Challengers Bengaluru, described Bhuvneshwar as one of the best bowlers in the format.
India named Bhuvneshwar in the squad after a gap of nearly four years. Captain Shreyas Iyer said the bowling unit had lacked experience in his leadership reign and believes the addition will make a significant difference.
New Zealand have also studied 15-year-old opener Vaibhav Sooryavanshi ahead of the series. Duffy confirmed the scouting work but said the focus remains on executing plans against India's established top order.
