23. Cooper Connolly becomes youngest Australian with three consecutive ODI fifties

Cooper Connolly became the youngest Australian to score three consecutive ODI fifties at 23 years and 27 days during the second ODI against Zimbabwe.

Cooper Connolly reached the mark at 23 years and 27 days in Harare on Friday, the youngest Australian to post three straight fifty-plus scores in ODIs.

It started with 149 off 134 against Bangladesh in June. Then 51 off 46 in the first Zimbabwe match, and 78 off 69 in the second.

He's already played against England and taken five wickets against South Africa, so the middle-order role is coming together faster than expected.
