430 — Sri Lanka chase second-highest ODI total to beat England
Sri Lanka chased down England's 429 for 4 to win by two wickets in Rawalpindi on Thursday. The victory marked the second-highest successful run chase in ODI history behind South Africa's 438 for 9 against Australia in 2006.
Harry Brook scored the fastest double century in ODI history with 202 off 116 balls. Pavan Rathnayake made 130 and Dasun Shanaka struck 97 off 50 balls in Sri Lanka's chase. Janith Liyanage sealed the win with a six off the penultimate ball after Sri Lanka lost two wickets in the final over.
The result leaves England with two defeats from two matches in the tri-series. Pakistan have won both their games and will face England in Lahore on Sunday.
