445 wickets — Starc takes No.1 ICC Test ranking

Mitchell Starc has risen to No.1 in the ICC Test bowling rankings for the first time after his 10-wicket haul against Bangladesh.

Mitchell Starc's 10-wicket series against Bangladesh has bumped him past Jasprit Bumrah to the top of the ICC Test bowling rankings — the first time the Australian left-armer has held the No.1 spot. He leads Bumrah by 10 rating points.

Starc sits 10th on the all-time Test wicket-takers list with 445 scalps. Pat Cummins climbed to fourth in the rankings, while Harry Brook leads the batting charts and Rishabh Pant cracked back into the top 10.

Bumrah's drop to second comes at an awkward moment: India's about to tour Sri Lanka for two Tests, and he's out with a knee injury anyway. So Starc gets the throne just as Bumrah gets sidelined.
