Dubey's 9/53 is the best first-class haul by any Vidarbha bowler and earns him the first nine-wicket Ranji innings for the state.

Harsh Dubey took nine wickets for 53 runs in 23.1 overs against Madhya Pradesh, including four maiden overs. Nachiket Bhute claimed the remaining wicket as Madhya Pradesh were bowled out for 209 in 66.1 overs. Atharv Mahajan top-scored with 85 off 123 balls.

Dubey's figures represent his best in first-class cricket and make him the first Vidarbha bowler to take nine wickets in a Ranji Trophy innings. The 23-year-old left-arm spinner took 69 wickets and scored 476 runs in the 2024-25 season before earning his first India call-up in May 2026.

He made his ODI debut on June 13 and has been part of the Sunrisers Hyderabad IPL squad. Vidarbha won the match by an innings after left-arm spinners caused a collapse on a pitch offering assistance.
