Abhinav Mukund backs Nitish Reddy to keep place ahead of Shivam Dube

Mukund argued that India should look at the longer run and give Reddy more chances while Hardik Pandya remains injured.

Former India opener Abhinav Mukund said Nitish Kumar Reddy should retain his place in the playing XI for the fifth T20I against West Indies ahead of Shivam Dube. Mukund cited Reddy's limited opportunities and his potential for the 2028 T20 World Cup. Reddy scored 21 off 14 in Indore and 41 off 20 in Hyderabad while taking 1 for 19 from two overs in the third match.
