ACA demands 27.5 per cent share of BBL privatisation proceeds for players

Australian Cricketers' Association chief Greg Marsh said players are entitled to 27.12 per cent of any proceeds from the sale of BBL teams to private investors. The ACA is willing to forgo that share in exchange for a higher ongoing revenue split of 27.5 per cent. Cricket Australia has rejected the model, arguing privatisation revenue differs from standard earnings. Talks remain ongoing with arbitration still possible.
