Ajay Mandal dismisses Shubman Gill for one in Ranji Trophy match

Left-arm spinner Ajay Mandal bowled Shubman Gill for one in Punjab's Ranji Trophy match against Chhattisgarh. Gill lasted five balls before the ball held its line and crashed into the middle stump.

Mandal is Chhattisgarh's highest wicket-taker in the Ranji Trophy with 133 wickets in 47 matches. He was the first bowler from the state to reach 100 wickets and has best figures of 13 for 63.

Gill missed the opening round but returned for the second ahead of India's tour of New Zealand. He will lead India in five ODIs and two Tests on that trip.
