Ajinkya Rahane praises Shubman Gill's leadership after Eden Park ODI

Ajinkya Rahane said he was impressed by Shubman Gill's leadership, player management and tactical calls during India's recent matches. Gill has maintained heavy scoring across formats.

India defeated New Zealand by five wickets under the DLS method at Eden Park on November 4 after bowling the hosts out for 185. Virat Kohli scored 74 from 51 balls and Gill made 37 from 56 as India reached 143 for five in 22.4 overs.

Arshdeep Singh took four for 70 and Gurnoor Singh Brar claimed three for 44 in New Zealand's innings. Rahane's comments come as Gill continues to lead Gujarat Titans in the IPL.
