Akash Madhwal names Suryakumar Yadav toughest batter faced in IPL 2026

Chennai Super Kings seamer Akash Madhwal said Suryakumar Yadav was the hardest batter he bowled to during IPL 2026. Madhwal recalled a practice match where Yadav repeatedly cleared the ropes off good-length deliveries.

The 32-year-old played for Chennai Super Kings in the season that ended last month. He also told reporters he expects MS Dhoni to feature in IPL 2027 based on the former captain's fitness levels at training.

Yadav finished the season among the top run scorers for Mumbai Indians across white-ball formats.
