Anaya Bangar to become eligible for elite women's cricket in Australia from March 2027
Anaya Bangar, daughter of former India batter Sanjay Bangar, will become eligible to play elite women's cricket in Australia from March 2027.
Bangar announced the clearance herself after Cricket Australia approved her under its transgender participation policy. The policy sets out hormone replacement therapy and a testosterone threshold that must be met for a fixed period.
She wants to represent Australia at the 2029 Women's World Cup.
