Andrew McDonald says Australia underachieved in South Africa after losing series from 1-0 lead

Andrew McDonald admitted Australia underachieved in South Africa. The Test coach said winning on the road is hard, and that's where teams get judged.

They led the series 1-0, then collapsed to 111 while chasing 288 on the final morning in Cape Town, losing their last seven wickets for 60 runs.

It's their second series loss under Pat Cummins. He still sits third on the list of Australian captains with the best win percentage in 25-plus Tests.
