Arshdeep equals record with 39 T20I wickets in 2026
Arshdeep Singh took one wicket in the third T20I against New Zealand to reach 39 wickets in the calendar year, matching Ireland's Josh Little for the most by a player from a Full Member team.
The left-arm seamer achieved the mark in his 102nd T20I and now sits one wicket short of becoming the first Indian to claim 150 T20I scalps. He trails only Bahrain's Ali Dawood, who took 63 wickets in 2025.
Arshdeep's figures for 2026 stand alongside Wanindu Hasaranga's 38 wickets in 2024 and Bhuvneshwar Kumar's 37 in 2022 on the Full Member list.
