Arun Jaitley Stadium outfield replacement to sideline venue until IPL 2027

The Arun Jaitley Stadium outfield is being replaced with a sand-based surface. The redevelopment is expected to take approximately four months. Delhi's Ranji Trophy home fixtures have been shifted to the Airforce Complex Ground in Palam. BCCI secretary Devajit Saikia had earlier dismissed reports of a venue change.

The venue is expected to be unavailable for cricket until IPL 2027. No alternative international fixtures have been announced for the ground during the redevelopment period.
