Auqib Nabi joins Surrey for three County Championship matches

Jammu and Kashmir seamer Auqib Nabi will play three County Championship matches for Surrey ahead of India's Test tour of New Zealand. The 29-year-old was named player of the tournament in the 2025-26 Ranji Trophy.

Nabi joins Surrey for their remaining Division One fixtures as the county battles to avoid relegation. The stint will provide him first-class experience in English conditions before the New Zealand series.

Nabi has been fast-tracked into India's Test and ODI squads in recent months.
