Australia scraps BBL contract embargo and overseas draft to open player market
Mitchell Starc has replaced Jasprit Bumrah as the world’s top-ranked Test bowler for the first time in his career. Starc took 10 wickets in Australia’s second Test against Bangladesh in Mackay, including figures of 6 for 12 and 4 for 39. Bumrah slipped to second place while Matt Henry dropped to third. Starc’s 872 rating points now lead the ICC list ahead of Bumrah’s 862.
