Avesh Khan takes two wickets in an over for Madhya Pradesh

Avesh Khan took two wickets in his first over against Bihar in the Ranji Trophy on Monday. The Madhya Pradesh fast bowler dismissed Naman Gaurav and Sraman Nigrodh with consecutive deliveries at Holkar Stadium in Indore, and Bihar were bowled out for 99.

Avesh has eight wickets in three Ranji innings this season. He last played for India in 2024 and has been working his way back after knee surgery. Saransh Jain took seven wickets for 40 runs to support the seam attack.

Madhya Pradesh reached 261 for three in reply, with Purohit unbeaten on 113 at stumps.
