Axar Patel named Impact Player of the Series against Afghanistan

Axar Patel was named Impact Player of the Series after India's 3-0 T20I sweep against Afghanistan. The left-arm spinner took four wickets across three matches, including 2 for 9 in three overs in the final game.

BCCI head physio Kamlesh Jain presented the award in the dressing room and praised Patel for maintaining pressure in the powerplay and death overs. Patel also contributed with the bat and in the field throughout the series.

Patel said the team implemented its plans across all three matches and expressed pride in the group's performance. Head coach Gautam Gambhir urged the players to switch focus to the Asian Games, where India are defending champions.
