Ayush Badoni scores second consecutive Ranji double century for Delhi

Ayush Badoni's unbeaten 210 against Jharkhand marks his second straight Ranji double century.

Ayush Badoni scored an unbeaten 210 against Jharkhand, his second consecutive Ranji double century, in a 334-run unbroken sixth-wicket stand with Sumit Mathur who remained 150 not out. Delhi declared their first innings at 515 for five.

Utkarsh Singh was unbeaten on 53 for Jharkhand at stumps on day two. Badoni is the third Delhi batter after Gautam Gambhir and Virat Kohli to achieve consecutive first-class double centuries.

Coach Devender Sharma said the India A omission after the Sri Lanka tour motivated Badoni to score heavily, with advice from Rishabh Pant relayed through the same channel.
