Babar Azam says Pakistan must rethink best playing XI after England series loss
Babar Azam said Pakistan must reflect on selection and performance after England completed a 3-0 Test series sweep.
Pakistan captain Babar Azam admitted the team needs to reflect on its mistakes after England completed a 3-0 Test series whitewash. The visitors lost the final match at Edgbaston by eight wickets.
Former India wicketkeeper Dinesh Karthik said Pakistan's inability to bat 90 overs across two innings in any match was not good enough at Test level. England took the series with clinical performances across all three Tests.
The defeat dropped Pakistan's World Test Championship points percentage to 14.81 per cent. Azam indicated that the squad composition would be reviewed before the next assignment.
