Babar Azam says Pakistan Test squad is ready to fight Sri Lanka

Babar Azam said Pakistan's Test squad is ready to face Sri Lanka. Pakistan will host a two-match Test series against Sri Lanka starting November 9 at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. This marks Pakistan's first Test series since a 3-0 whitewash in England.

Kusal Mendis said he has no doubt in Sri Lanka's batting line-up. Mendis added that Sri Lanka are in a very good path. He will captain Sri Lanka in the first Test, having replaced Dhananjaya de Silva as Test captain on October 8.

Pakistan added four players, including three uncapped, to the squad. The squad includes six uncapped players in total. Mendis said Sri Lanka has a senior bowling unit with extensive first-class and international experience.
